22/09/2023 And this is Button's arm after restoration....

I took the wires and all the stuffing out of Button's arm so that I could very carefully sew the holes...Over the years I have developed a technique that allows me to blend in new stitches to the fabric that doesn't show too much...it strengthens the material and makes for a very happy bear!
It's a very time consuming technique but worth it for the end result.
I replaced the wires and stuffing as original once the repair was complete....
